This dual-action herbicide is designed to provide broad-spectrum control of weeds in maize (corn) cultivation, targeting both grassy and broadleaf weeds for optimal crop health and productivity.

Mode of Action

1. Nicosulfuron (4.5%):
   • Belongs to the ALS inhibitor (Acetolactate Synthase) class of herbicides.
   • Stops weed growth by disrupting amino acid synthesis.
   • Effective against annual and perennial grasses like barnyard grass and Johnson grass.
2. Mesotrione (13.5%):
   • Belongs to the HPPD inhibitor (4-Hydroxyphenylpyruvate Dioxygenase) class of herbicides.
   • Blocks carotenoid biosynthesis, leading to bleaching of weed tissues and eventual death.
   • Targets broadleaf weeds like pigweed, lamb’s quarters, and velvetleaf.
